Optimized production resources

Our medical device clients may submit single production orders or blanket purchase orders with multiple scheduled deliveries for extruded tubing. Increasingly clients are integrating their procurement systems with Putnam Plastics electronically, providing even greater insight into future demand. Doing so allows Putnam Plastics to optimize our production resources which in turn allows us to ensure reliable delivery. Custom labeling enables Putnam Plastics to provide bar coded product packaging compatible with our clients’ own material handling systems.

If a medical device client has questions regarding product quality or conformance, our quality personnel are available for consultation. Our strict adherence to a corrective and preventative action (CAPA) process ensures a fast and thorough resolution of issues.

Our medical device clients work with their Putnam Plastics technical sales representative to develop next generation medical device extrusions concurrently with the production of their validated products. Once the next generation product design and process have been validated a seamless transition can take place, realizing the improvements of the next generation without compromising the quality of the first.
