Putnam Plastics offers a variety of custom extrusion technologies for medical devices. These include thermoplastic extrusion, thermoset polyimide tubing, catheter printing, catheter tipping, and catheter machining.

Thermoplastic Extrusions

Putnam Plastics specializes in medical catheter extrusion of thermoplastics, including co-extrusion and multi-lumen extrusion.  Putnam extrudes medical tubing from a wide range of thermoplastic polymers from polyurethanes and nylons through PEEK and melt processible fluoropolymers.

Polymide Tubing

Putnam Plastics offers a wide range of thermoset polyimide tubing for medical catheters and devices.  Polyimide tubing can be used as for the medical catheter itself, or as a lumen within a thermoplastic medical catheter.

Catheter Printing

Putnam Plastics offers a wide range of catheter printing options, including pad printing of catheter markers or printing of text on the catheter shaft.

Catheter Tipping

Using a wide variety of technologies, Putnam Plastice provides comprehensive catheter tipping services.  Technologies include RF forming of medical catheter ends, butt welding catheter tips, and more

Catheter Machining and Finishing

Putnam Plastics offers a complete range of cutting, hole drilling, skive cutting, machining and more for the medical catheter forming and finishing.
